In 2018, a number of reenactors from Germany decided to form a band to play for fellow reenactors – and thus, the Swing Field Unit was created. But wanting to also play for audiences in jazz clubs, dance studios and swing festivals, the musicians decided to also start Martha Miller & the Jitterbugs. The four band members – including the beautiful and talented Miss Martha Miller on vocals – live all across Germany and regularly meet to practice and to play for dancers, vintage lovers and jazz fans alike.
